This film is in preproduction:
I work with the director thumbnailing visual idea's. I work with location photos to use for reference and practical production. It's no different than Animation boarding except a board artist in live-action needs to know the limits of practical shooting and budget.
I am aware this location is available for only 2 days on the shooting schedule and the DP can get only 15 -20 setups a day. As a board guy it helps to keep these thing in mind. No sense giving the Director shots he can't or won't shoot. It is a challenge but I will build my storyboards around the limits of production and still try to visually communicate the script.
