"SPIDERMAN" Sony Pictures - The film that started the Marvel Juggernaut

I worked on Spiderman for over a year. This scene had a script description of: " The Goblin and Spiderman fight in the Hulking Ruin. The Director had strong idea's on this sequence. I boarded it a number of times. I worked with the art department to figure out the logistics of the sequence.

Storyboarding on a film can inspire an image that will lead to the poster. This was the case on Bagger Vance.  Below is my original board and the final poster.

I work with the director thumbnailing visual idea's. I work with location photos to use for reference and practical production. It's no different than Animation boarding except a board artist in live-action needs to know the limits of practical shooting and budget.

A Simple Plan - Paramount Pictures

This is a scene from Simple Plan that didn't make it into the film. Hank (Bill Paxton) is worried/paranoid that he will be found out by the police that he is hiding 4 million in stolen money that he and his brother and friend discovered in a crashed airplane.
   This sequence is played through Hanks POV. He is looking out his bedroom window when he notices a helicopter circling around. The sequence ends with Hank suddenly waking up in cold sweat in his bed. It was an anxiety dream.
   It was a sequence that was boarded but never shot.
I think it was a combination of a editorial and budget decision. The story did not suffer, the Director directed an incredible, memorable film.
